Visit Alexandria Branding

It’s always an adventure and full of good learning experiences whenever I get the opportunity to work on a proposal at Reingold. This time the client was Visit Alexandria and they were in the market for rebranding but wanted to see which firm could deliver the brand they were looking for. Unfortunately, Reingold didn’t win this proposal, but I gained experience as a creative about the building graphics for a proposal. For this branding concept, I designed posters, digital web ads and magazine mock ups for print ads. The brand I developed was also designed for social media graphics that would reach their audience effortless with a tap of a finger. This bold take on Visit Alexandria’s brand invokes the vibrantly lively yet timelessness of the culture in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia.

Visit Alexandria is a membership-based 501(c)(6) organization that prides itself on strong ties to the Alexandria business and tourism communities. Visitors to Alexandria, Virginia from at least 50 miles away spent $693 million in 2020, resulting in tens of millions of dollars in local tax revenue. Their work to support tourism to the City of Alexandria includes marketing, public relations, visitor services, meeting and group sales, the VisitAlexandriaVA.com website, social media, member services, the Official Alexandria Visitor Guide and Map, and tourism research.
